Our Clinical Director, Tim Pearson’s vision has always been to provide bespoke, holistic pet health care services. Delivered by highly experienced clinicians, we offer a range of effective medical options and procedures, tailored to the needs of both our clients and their pets. We will always be there for all your pets’ needs, whether it be preventative healthcare, elective treatment or emergency care – 365 days of the year.
Care
At Orchard House we offer our clients longer surgery consultations to give us ample opportunity to properly understand and discuss the health concerns of our client’s pets. This enables clients to make informed decisions about their pets Care.
Expertise
We understand that your pet takes pride of place at the heart of your family. Finding a trusted vet is key to ensure that owners feel that you receive reliable and accurate advice for your pet to promote a long and healthy life. Our nurses are fully qualified and registered with the Royal College of Nursing. All our staff members attend regular training to ensure we provide the best service possible.
Awards And Accreditations
We are proud of our team and the rewards and accreditations we have received. We have the Petplan awards 2022 Veterinary Nurse of the year; The 2020 Veterinary Receptionist of the year and in 2020 we had two finalists in the Petplan awards for best support staff. Our Stocksfield and Bellingham surgeries are bronze standard ISFM cat friendly clinics too, so your feline friends can have a more relaxed experience with us. We also take part in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons practice accreditation scheme. This voluntary scheme assesses practices on every aspect of veterinary care and ensures that we meet their rigorous standards without fail.

We were awarded ‘Best Veterinary Care Providers – North East England’ in 2021 at the Northern Enterprise Awards.
Winning this award gives our director, Tim Pearson, enormous pride and he had the following to say about winning this award:
“After a challenging couple of years, it is fantastic for our hard-working, loyal and caring staff to finally be recognized as being the best in the best area of the UK in the Northern Enterprise Awards. When I “set up my plate” at Orchard House 25 years ago, it was with the dream of providing hospital-standard care to pets but in a practice that was small enough to care; where owners could see the same vet on every visit and where vets and nurses were like friends. I think we’ve fulfilled that dream. To have it recognised by finally winning an award rather than always being the “bridesmaid” is just a little bit wonderful.”
