Covid-19 practice update

Covid-19 practice update.

Although recent changes in the government covid restrictions have permitted businesses to allow greater levels of client access and have enabled us to review our Practice covid policies, levels of covid infections remain high and demonstrate that the virus is still prevalent in the community.

At Orchard House Veterinary Centres, we take our duty of care for our staff and clients very seriously. Our clinical staff work in close contact with our patients which means that we are not able to easily operate social distancing during a consultation. Our practices are small and any positive covid contact could be very disruptive to the care we can provide.

We feel that it is important for us to continue as we have been for many months, with vet consultations happening outside as much as possible. We do understand that some clients would like to come into the building and we are currently working on how we can provide limited access to a controlled number of clients.

Our clients have been so supportive of our covid safety measures during these last 18 months and we can’t thank you enough for your patience and understanding.
