As a small, independent business in Tynedale, we understand the importance of supporting local events near Hexham, Stocksfield and Bellingham. Many of these events are ran by locals who give up so much of their time to make these events the fantastic spectacle that they are. Here at Orchard House Vets, we have a long standing history of supporting events near Hexham and the surrounding areas. It is important, as an independent vets ourselves, that we support local, and especially small businesses!

Below is a list of the events near Hexham we are sponsoring this year, and more information on each one!

Tynedale Beer and Cider festival 

From 13th – 16th June, this established festival is in it’s 22nd year and as far as events near Hexham go, this is one of the biggest! The fantastic weekend is full of beer, cider, spirits, food and live music. This year, we have sponsored ‘Mucky Dog’, which seems quite an apt name!

Slaley show 

On Saturday 10th August, Slaley show returns for it’s 178th show! This long standing event is a brilliant day out with plenty to do, see and of course to eat and drink!

Bellingham show

On Saturday 31st August, Bellingham Show returns for another year. This popular event is a fantastic day out and this year looks even more exciting!
