Our Veterinary surgeon, Rachel Brown MRCVS, is undergoing training at Liverpool vet school to become an advanced practitioner for ultrasonography and will be equipped with a Siui Apogee 1000 Lite with Micro convex Probe.

Rachel says “This qualification means I take a special interest in the medical side of veterinary practice and have been doing lots of extra CPD and training in internal medicine to hopefully manage and investigate cases in-house to a higher level. The new ultrasound scanner will have a lovely big screen, lovely crisp good quality images, and some slightly fancy modes that will let us do some more advanced ultrasonography including of the heart to check if there are signs of heart failure or other problems.

And it will mean we can do pregnancy scans and show proud mums and dads something that looks a bit less like a potato!”
