Tim Pearson BVMS, MVM, MRCVS

Clinical Director / Veterinary Surgeon

“Uncle Tim” works mainly at the Hexham centre, but also runs a surgery at Bellingham on a Wednesday morning.

Tim graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School, James Herriot’s alma mater, in 1988 and was awarded the Dr Ian Lauder prize in Small Animal Medicine.  In 1989 he was awarded a Master of Veterinary Medicine degree for work on the treatment of arthritis in dogs.

He worked in small animal practice in Newcastle, Kent, London and in a Veterinary Hospital in Harrogate with a dental specialist before returning to Tynedale to “set up his plate” at Orchard House. Tim wanted to take the best from small practices with a friendly and approachable team and blend it with the high standards and excellent care and equipment of a veterinary hospital.  We think he has succeeded.

Tim has two Border Collie’s; Ozzie a familiar canine face at Hexham, Drum his naughty younger ‘brother’ and a cat called Gus.  Oh, and he also has a wife a geography teacher, and two daughters.
