We at Orchard House Veterinary Centres are proud to offer an out of hours service with our own veterinary surgeons available to answer your emergency calls. Unfortunately, at the moment, we have veterinary surgeons on maternity leave and another who has retired.

Our remaining veterinary surgeons are doing their best to fill in the out of hours slots, however, there will, unfortunately, be a few weeknights and weekends over the next few months that they are not able to be available. Moorview Referrals, a Veterinary Referrals Centre in Cramlington, have agreed to provide an out of hours emergency service for us on these nights and weekends. Moorview Referrals is a dedicated 24 hour referral and emergency centre with overnight care facilities.

If you need out of hours help, please call your usual branch or the Hexham number, 01434-607677, as usual. Our answering service staff will advise our on call veterinary surgeon, or Moorview Referrals, of your call details and ask the Veterinary Surgeon to return your call.

Please be aware that neither ourselves, nor Moorview Referrals charge for out of hours phone calls.

We apologise for this disruption in our out of hours service and for any inconvenience incurred.
